Privacy policy

Who we are

TV Routine is run by Kasparo Anusausko individuali veikla (Lithuania), which is responsible for your data. Questions and requests: privacy@tvroutine.com.

What we store, and why

• Your email address, to send you login links and invitations. There are no passwords.
• Your families: the family name, its members (their email addresses and roles) and invitations you send, so parents can share one routine.
• Your routine: task titles, start and end times, and display settings (background, sound, volume, which tasks turn the TV off, and the Sony TV power key if you enter one), so the TV can show them.
• Logins and linked TVs: one session per phone or TV, with the time it was created, its IP address and browser or device type, so you stay logged in and TVs can load your routine.
• Short-lived security data: login links (valid 15 minutes), TV linking codes (10 minutes), and counters that limit how often logins and invitations can be tried. The counters keep a one-way hash, not the email or IP address.

We do not show ads, sell data, or use analytics or tracking. Please do not put sensitive personal details in task titles.

Where it is kept, and who helps us

• Cloudflare runs the website and stores the database in its Western Europe region. It also checks the login form for bots (Turnstile) and keeps technical request logs for a few days.
• Resend delivers our emails: it receives the recipient address and the email text.

YouTube backgrounds

If your family chooses a YouTube video as the TV background, the TV plays it with the YouTube API Services. YouTube (Google) then receives the TV's IP address and may set cookies or similar data on the TV once the video plays. We store only the video's address. The video and its content come from YouTube.

By using a YouTube background you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's use of the data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Cookies and local storage

One cookie keeps you logged in on the phone. It lasts 90 days from your last visit and is removed when you log out. The phone also remembers which family you last chose. The TV keeps its link to your account, and may keep the last routine it loaded so it can show it while offline.

How long, and deleting

We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete your login and sessions (linked TVs stop loading your routine), your email address, and every family where you are the only member, with its routine and settings. Families you share stay with the other parents. Deleted data leaves our database backups within 30 days.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it at privacy@tvroutine.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

TV Routine is set up and used by adults. Children may watch the routine on the TV, but they do not have accounts and we do not collect data from them.
